Life’s Worth

By peace | January 30, 2007

Whether it is an animal or a human being, life is precious. While some married couples yearn for babies, but due to some reasons, they are unable to conceive. Still others, got pregnant at some inappropriate time and they have to consider abortions. Some people die young and some people die old. Some people even choose to end their life. How much is life really worth?

I am feeling very despair. Dishearten, discourage, and feeling hopeless at the things in my life. There are certain things that really need two hands to clap. There are things where it is beyond your control. It is unbearable and stressful to be hurt by someone whom you trusted and love.

How much is a life worth?
Life is created the moment a sperm get to fertilise an egg of the human being or animals. Most lives are the result of the union of love relationships between married couples. Some lives are the result of misfortunes in lives such as rape and pre-marital sex. Regardless of whichever ways life is conceived, life is priceless and precious. Every lives are unique and special. One cannot use money to buy any lives at all.

You can never find another you in this world. Neither can you find another mother, another father or another spouse in any part of the world. Everybody in the same family is born different and have different characters and appearances. Every individuals are unique and they choose their own paths in lives and they have different destiny.

Life is irreversible. Once a life is gone, you can never got it back. Even with the most money you have, even if you pawn away all your possessions in your life, you can never redeem back a life that is gone (dead).

Every individual has their own unique strengths and weaknesses. Whether these individuals are of high qualification or low qualification, different races, different background and so on, these individuals all contribute their parts in making this society a better place. Together, they help to make this world functionable and economical as well. Regardless of what roles these people play, such as cleaners, teachers, factory workers, doctors, technician, and so on, all these people have their important role to play. Whether they are low salary workers or high salary staff, they are not to be belittled and they are indispensible in this society.

The values of life is more obvious where family members are involved. We all know the importance of our parents and spouse or children in our lives. Nothing can replaced them in our hearts. These people in our lives are so important that we may even sacrificed our lives in time of crisis just to save our love ones. Life is thus something that is not measurable by monetary means. Life is something that money cannot buy. Life is valuable. Life is priceless.

Is it worth living in this world? I do not know. There are countless of problems , obstacles, unhappiness and happiness in this world. There are more strength and energy needed than happiness and rest and relax. Though I said that life is precious, but I just cannot stand the pressure of what I am facing in life now. It is unbearable pain and suffering. My heart is aching and it hurts badly. I wish I can die and sleep peacefully forever.
