What I Wish To Win

What is my dream? What do I really wish to have? Well, I am happy with what I am now — simple life, but everything at the most basic, no luxuries. Every body hope to have more in their life. To have what you want you need to work hard and achieve it. But working hard is indeed hard. So many people choose to ‘buy hope’ instead — gambling, participate in contests and so on.

How easy is it to win? I don’t know. There are too many lucky draws around. Too many prizes to be won here and there. Too many gifts and yet nothing is really free. There is always hope when we fill up lucky draw coupons, fill up survey forms, or hurried to a certain place, just to be sure you are the first fifty customers and so on. But how many times our hopes are all shattered, all we get is disappointments and feeling ‘tired’, so much so that we can predict the outcome.
However, if I were to really win a prize, what would I want and what do I want to do with it? If I win a prize, I want to win a car, a totally free car, one which I do not need to pay for monthly instalments. Using the car, I know that I need to pay for car park charges, petrol charges, road tax etc and that is reasonable, in the sense that I am using it and I have to pay for it.
Our family has no car. Buying a car and considering every month need to pay all other expenses is a lot for us. So I would want to have a car if I can win a prize. Somebody sell their prize so as to exchange for a sum of money. But I do not want to sell away. I want to keep the car, and use it for our family. I want to visit so many places with the car. With a car, going to the beach, park or just anywhere is so much more convenient than taking public transport. I want my children to be happy. I want them to experience how it is like to owe a car and traveling around in the car.
