Seeking Romance

By peace | April 28, 2007

Dating is the first step before any serious relationship can be developed from there. Dating allows you to search for the right partner and dating is all about marketing yourself, making yourself ‘sellable’ in the process. Women want romance, and they want their partner to be romantic. I also seek romance in my relationship.

Seeking romance, but you alone cannot make things happen! Dating is always exciting and fun. After dating, the next stage of relationship means more commitment and being more practical. Marriage becomes ‘dull’ after partners stopped ‘dating’ again. Why so many marriages fail and so many relationships breakup? Men and women are made different from each other. It takes two parties — their commitment and effort to make any relationship to work well and excel.

Women tends to be more romantic than men and women wanted to feel loved. Women spend time on romantic novels or films. Women’s magazines concentrate on love, romance, other people’s affairs or how to exercise, eat and dress better to have even more romance. One Australian study showed that women who read romance novels have sex twice as often as those who don’t! Conversely, men spend more time on books and magazines teaching technical knowledge on a range of spatially-related subjects such as computers, car racing, football etc.

Never forget that a woman is a romantic. She enjoys wine, flowers, and chocolate. Let her know that you, too, remember these things… by speaking of them occasionally. ~ Woody Allen

A woman enters a relationship looking for romance and love. Sex comes as a consequence. Men frequently enter a relationship through sex and then look to see if there could be the possibility of a relationship! However, when it comes to romance, most men do not know anything about it. Men’s brains are wired for the technical and not the aesthetic. My husband is just one example. After marriage, all romance fade and now is totally ‘dead’. Men always complain that their women are not interested in sex. Few men actually know that the problems lie in them. They should try to understand their woman, read books or articles such as those at eHarmony. Reading books, articles or visit websites about dating and relationship would help a lot.

Having a date again — plan a romantic evening with candles, which set a romantic mood. Eating fruits, feeding each other with grapes, holding hands again and hugging each other. Romance can be sensual and intimate again if both parties work at it again.

It is easy to start a relationship but difficult to maintain a relationship. To make the sparks alive, men should do their research, read and understand how to make their woman happy. At eHarmony, there are so many tips for men and women all about dating and relationship. One can find romantic love ideas and romantic love letters too! I personally like the page on Romantic Ideas. What lovely ideas they had! I would like my husband to do those to me! Articles about online dating and relationships can be found there too. Even if my husband is not doing those to me, but reading those lovely tips and ideas are so soothing — imagine and indulge myself with the thoughts of having romance again with HIM. RomanceForEveryone.com is really a site all about Romance For Everyone. I have bookmarked it. You should!
