Mother’s Day Card
By peace | May 13, 2007
This is a card which Clara had given me this morning, as soon as I woke up in the morning. Today is Mother’s Day. Apparently, she had it all prepared. She woke up early in the morning, the first one to wake up in the family, went to the study room (I had no idea what she did).
When she saw me woke up, she came to me, smiled to me, hug me and gave me the card. I was touched by her sincerity and kindness. She is always so sweet, so helpful and kind.
This is the inside of the card. It shows a ‘pop-out’ heart. I was so surprised! She is so thoughtful and smart!
I like the card. It is a card which she has made herself. It is really the thoughts that count. It is her creativity and thoughts that touches me. It is something that cannot be bought with money. It takes time and effort to make it. Thank you dear Clara. I love you.
This gift, a self-made Mother’s Day Card by her, Clara, means a lot to me. She has definitely grow up. I find that life is more meaningful now that I am a mother as compared to last time. I feel more feminine, more compassionate, more caring and the feeling of being ‘complete’ now that I am a mother — having two kids, a husband and a family.
Though being a mother is not easy, it is challenging and I have learned many things from the children as well. I am happy that I have two wonderful children. They are my heart and soul.
