Ricsson is having his Holy Communion this year, somewhere in September. Parents will be informed at a later date on the details of the Holy Communion. The last time he had his special occasion in the church was his baptism, when he was a baby. The next sacraments he is going through is Holy Communion.

I been through this stage too. I still remember my Holy Communion. I have the the photographs. I do not remember who had taken the photographs. My mother was with me. She was beside me all the while, walking beside me while I was holding on to a candle, walking into the church. The archbishop, Gregory Yong was there at that time.

Prior to the Holy Communion, my mother had to go shopping for my Holy Communion white dress and hat. My Holy Communion hat was a hand woven one, order to make by my mother’s friend. I forgot how much it cost. If I am not wrong, it was about $10-$15. I still remember how it looked like, but I had lost the hat now. My Holy Communion white dress was bought at Boon Lay Shopping Centre, a shopping place where we used to go often when we were young.
