Factories’ Equipments & Machines
By peace | July 3, 2007
During my younger days, 5 -9 years old (I should think so, or maybe younger), I used to follow my father to different factories and companies when he was at work. Apparently, there was no one to look after me at home and that explains why I need to follow him wherever he went.
During those days, he need to collect invoice or accounts from companies. He would drive from one company to another one. He will park his car on the roadside and then I would stay in the car, helped him to look after the car. While he is away, I would look at things around me. All factories that I had seen, always have their own machines like Forklifts, excavators and loaders. Different factories have their own unique equipments to help them with their production of goods. The workers are always busy at work.
Driving heavy vehicles as loaders and also the Forklift requires learning just like driving car or motorbike on the road. It is for the drivers’ own safety as well as for the safety of the surrounding people. Nobody without undergoing training at Heavy Equipment Operator School is allowed to drive heavy vehicles in the factory. My brother-in-law works in a factory, and he had undergo his own heavy vehicle training in Singapore. In America, the Associated Training Services (ATS) is one of their nation’s premier heavy equipment operator training schools. Ours at Singapore is not even heard of before.
