Steven Lim Ee Ping is noted as a digusting fellow in XX blog. If not for his video’s rebuke at XX, I would not have a second thought about Steven Lim and his website. He is surely someone far better than what claim to be the “blogger queen” of Singapore. It is degrading the reputation of Singapore to have such kind of blog. LaoZhaBo’s blog and Mr Brown’s blog are far better than that.
Well, back to Steven Lim… he used to be an ugly duckling — very skinny. Indeed he looks older years back when he was thinner. You can see the transformation of him in the above photographs. Any ugly duckling has a chance to become a swan! He is proud of himself definitely for being able to put on weight and he had written a book on how he had achieved that. To him that is his great achievement.
He is an open person. He does not hide anything. He has high self-esteem, got confident and he is daring, got guts and got brain. You can see his full CV in his website. You can see his marketing skills, and his business mind. He may not be perfect but who is perfect in this world?
The fact that he is daring and he has the kind of ‘thick-skin’ will do far for him. He has all the proper mindset. He was not discouraged when he was so ‘ugly’ but he was determined to change. His changed has inspired him to publish his own book, in a way helping people who may have the same problem as him years back.
For all the insults and criticism, he never feel discouraged still. He stood up and fight for himself. And I think the video response of him to the arrogant girl is really a good one, the best ever, targeted at the right girl for doing such a thing to hurt the seven bloggers and more people in her previous posts.
What can we learn from Steven Lim? Nothing is impossible. Anything that seems impossible can always be changed. Impossible simply means I M Possible if you are determined to put in effort to change. No pain no gain. Nothing venture nothing gain. There is no trying for the determined mind. There is only ‘Just Do It!” . This is the kind of mindset that do not care for more. You know you have to do it in order to achieve what you want because you know how much you want it and you need it.
