Lantern

By peace | September 19, 2007

This is Ricsson’s Lantern. He had learned how to make this lantern during his art lesson in school. Mooncake Festivals, also called Lantern Festivals and Mid-Autumn Festivals, will be on 25 September 2007, coming soon next Tuesday. Ricsson is very excited about it. He was asking if we can go downstairs on that day. The children love to eat mooncakes. After Mooncake Festivals, there will not be anymore mooncakes. They would need to wait for another year. So I will definitely grant their wish.

In order to get two lanterns for the children, I purchased a total of more than $10 on that day. However, that night both the children did not want to carry any lantern at all. They were just like me while I was young. I found that it was so meaningless to carry a lantern, walking around. I rather played ‘fire’. That was what the children ‘love’ too. […]
