Debt Sensibility

By peace | September 21, 2007

As you can read from my earlier post, my family is full of debts. A family should always work together to solve problems. However, when it comes to money and husband-wife relationship, it is very complicated. I had done debt management for him before. I had helped to consolidate his loans before. All these, was not a solution at all. There are always more banks, forever increasing marketing and advertising of credit cards, credit lines and many more. These lead to more loans again.

When I had done consolidation loan for him and gave birth to two children, he left me. Later he came back, still with loans unsettled. Again, part of his loans were settled, but soon, they accumulate again. I had learned to leave him alone when it comes to finance matters. It does not pay to meddle with his affairs. However, his debts is family’s debts. We are affected by debts indirectly. I hope IVA can help him. IVA sound good. But I am not going to say anything about it. He just got to be more sensible.
