Eyes Problems

By peace | October 24, 2007

After wearing contact lenses for more than twenty years and more, last year I finally stopped wearing contact lenses daily. I was told by the optometrist that my eyes were too dry. It is better to stop wearing contact lenses. I know my eyes too. I cut down on wearing contact lenses. I purchased daily disposable contact lenses so that I can wear them only when necessary.

Wearing spectacles now, I experienced eye pain and eye-twitching very often recently. Vision is so important. I do not know if there is anything wrong with it. I had told Valerie about it too. Richard asked me to buy more nutritional supplements for the eyes.

As far as I know, the most common eye problems are refraction errors, which include shortsightedness, farsightedness and astigmatism. Other eye diseases and disorders occurred later in life. Among the very often age-related conditions are glaucoma, cataracts, dry eye, macular degeneration and retinal holes and detachment. Anyone over the age of 40 should have their eyes checked for glaucoma and macular degeneration about every 2 years. Macular degeneration is the gradual deterioration of the central part of the retina. For more information about macular degeneration and macular degeneration prevention and symptoms, visit National Eye Care. There are steps you can take to stabilize and even possibly improve your vision. If you are worry about your eyes, you might want to find out more information about caring for your eyes. Certain nutrients such as omega-3 fish oil and CoQ10 with L-Carnitine may help slow down macular degeneration and preserve vision. NaturalEyeCare.com provides you recommendations and options for treatment along comments from patients who’ve seen improvement. Sometimes a change in lifestyle may also help.
