Irony Of Life

By peace | November 8, 2007

Life is so funny. When we were young, our parents looked after us. As we are growing, our parents get older. By the time we grow up and be sensible, they are the one who need our care and support. They are the ones who teach us, guide us and advice us. By the time we are old enough to have our own thoughts and idea, and also our own family, their health might not be as good as before too.

My parents have grown old and even older during these recent years. They have more white hair now. Their eyes were not as clear as before. My father’s legs were not as strong as before too. Their motion were not as fast as before. There were time when my father could not even stand and need my mother to help. My mother also had a few falls in the factory. This is the facts of life. Its like a negative parabola. At the start of our life, we all so helpless and our parents are the ones who help us. We reach the peak of our life, at the apex of the parabolic curve, and thereafter, we had a decline of our health. When we reach a level of incapacity, we need the help of our children to care for us next.

However, this is a world where not everybody use their heart to rule and use their heart to see. Many people do not care for their parents when they are old. Some people, on the other hand, have too much commitments and are too busy to have time to look after their old parents — just as some young people are too busy with work to look after their young babies. There are childcare centres for little children and there are care home for the elderly. Bettercaring is a dedicated service for anyone who needs answers to crucial questions about care for themselves or their loved ones. With Bettercaring, anyone can look at the care options that are available so that the right kind of care can be arranged. At Bettercaring, you can also read daily care news and views, and receive tips from care experts. There is also a community forum that allows users to discuss their own experiences within the care system.
