Busy Owners

By peace | November 13, 2007

It is so hard to take a good pictures of animals. I am referring to dogs here. This is Hei Dou and Jungle. I missed them. Its been a long time since I last saw them at my house. Sometime back, Lim Chan asked if I want to adopt HeiDou. I was keen on it but Richard does not want it. In the end, we did not adopt the dog.

We went to Lim Chan’s house on Sunday. The dogs were locked in the kitchen. I was surprised and shocked to see the great change in the two dogs. They were overweight — so much fatter than usual. It was so hard to take a picture of them. They kept moving. They were very noisy in the kitchen as they saw strangers coming.

Both the dogs looked different. The furs were wet and obviously not groomed. They have not been going for exercise too. This is the trouble with busy owners.

Many owners are so busy that they have no time to bring their dogs for a walk. In the end, I always see maid bringing dogs for walks. Maid bringing children to the playground, maid staying at home with their owner’s children. The maid seems to be the masters of the house.

My brother’s maid told me that her ‘mum’ can be away for as long as 3 weeks. Her ’sir’, she can hardly get to see too. Early in the morning, my brother had to leave the house and he came home late. The home is only left with the kids and the maid. When the kids go to school, what does the maid do? The maid puts on make-up, listens to MP3, handphone and she is the mistress of the house. The maid seems to have better life than us — staying in condominium! But they paid a price to work here. They missed their own family members and they are normal people just like us, who feel lonely and need friends.
