Watching Sunrise for the First Time
This is my inspiration on 1st April 2008, the day I woke up. Everyday, my heart is filled with songs, filled with inspiration when I woke up. The birds all sing, the birds all fly, the insects, the animals and plants, they are all my life. The sun rising, the birds flying, they were so nice. I had never watched how birds can fly so gracefully in my life before. But this is first time, first time watching birds, so many birds at the comfort of my home, my home land, without the need to travel to Sungei Buloh.

My Ignorance
When I was young, I hate the sun, it is so hot, and I love grey sky, not so hot and no rain as well. Having no rain means my legs will not get wet when I go out. Rainy days, all the earthworms will be flooded on the pavement or walkways. I hate to see the sight of earthworms. When I was young, I played badminton with my cousins. I was not afraid of earthworms at all. I used my bare hands to catch the earthworms one day (when we were playing badminton at their flat, at Taman Jurong. My mother loved to play Mahjong and Taman Jurong was a place I often went there, and my playmates were my cousins.

My Fear
As I grew up, I began to be scared of worms, even earthworms. I encountered many types of worms — even my feaces had worms! Those were the ’scary’ days that I had. I was always the ‘unusual one’ in the family that seems to have so much medical problems, visiting doctors, hospital or clinic.

Everything Happen For a Reason
The weather had always been so hot. At home, I always complain of hot when Richard is always complaining of cold. However, in the month of March, or ever since December, we noticed a change in weather. In March, we experience cold for the first time. Little did I know that this is the period of time which I got to talk to God, the cloud, the sky, the rain, and all the supernatural forces I had seen. I saw the most unbelievable thing happened and I heard the most unbelievable sound. My spectacle was broken, after two spectacles — my spectacle and Ricsson’s spectacle were ‘dropped’ down in the early hours of the night. The same night, my shoes, both left and right produced footsteps sound. The voice that sound in my mind was to walk like Jesus.

Destiny
These photographs of sunrise above was taken on 1st April 2008, my first discovery, my right eye, the ‘eye of God’. The sun shone right at this bear on that day, my eyes opened. I was not aware of the details of this bear all along. But that day, as the sunlight seem to communicate with me, I dusted the bear, and I discovered that I am the bear, the adventurous bear, holding a camera in his hand and briefcase with him. In this container was put all my tools, my lipstick brush, brusher, and many others…
