“Ma Baker” was a 1977 music single released by the Euro-disco group Boney M. It appeared on the 1977 album “Love for Sale.” The song is inspired by the legendary 1930s outlaw Ma Barker, but the lyrics do not reflect her real history. The tune is taken from a Tunisian folkloric song, Sidi Mansur. The song has been covered a number of times by other artists (e.g., Banda R-15, Knorkator, Milli Vanilli).
