The bedroom is the most private and personal room in the house. It is the place where we begin and end the day. It is also the place where we recuperate and reinvigorate ourselves. More than any other space, the bedroom is the place where we can shut out the world and surround ourselves with only our most prized possessions and intimate thoughts.
This is my brother’s bedroom as shown above. Our family went to his house during Chinese New Year and I saw this little white bear on the bed, and was so captivated by it. The bedroom is so nice. Their furniture are all custom-made. My bedroom furniture when compared with this is extremely inferior.
My bedroom furniture is very simple. It is 8 years old already, getting torn and worn-out. In another few years time, perhaps it needs to be replaced.
