Ave Maria
31st August 2008, Celebration of Holy Matrimony at Church of St Anthony
Ave Maria Lyrics
As I kneel before you
As I bow my head in prayer
Take this day, make it yours
And fill me with your love.
Refrain
Ave Maria! Gratia Plena!
Dominus Tecum, Benedicta tu!
All I have, I give you
Every dream and wish are yours
Mother of Christ, Mother of mine
Present them to my Lord
As I kneel before you
And I see your smiling face
Every thought, every word
Is lost in your embrace.

Lim Chan was warded at Room 357. Upon arrival at third floor, just out of the lift, I saw this beautiful statue of Mary again. Holy Holy Holy God…
A snapshot of the note about The Blessed Virgin Mary - Mother of God
Mary was the daughter of Anne and Joachim who lived in the village of Nazareth in Israel. The Blessed Virgin Mary is primarily honoured as the Mother of God.
Through the power of the Holy Spirit of God, Mary conceived in her womb and gave birth to a son in Bethlehem over 2000 years ago. This Son who was called Jesus, is truly the Son of God and truly the Son of Mary. He received His human body from His Mother Mary, who like all mothers, had to feed Him, care for His needs and teach Him. Jesus, the Son of God became a man to show us the way to God and make us God’s children so that we can all now pray to God calling Him ‘Our Father’.
At the foot of the cross in Calvary, before Jesus died for us, He gave us Mary to be our Mother. Mary continues to show us her children, her maternal love and care and so we continue to pray to her saying,”Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and the hour of our death. Amen.”
