Descent of the Holy Spirit

By peace | April 15, 2010

The above slideshow shows the cranes flying in the sky at the open field near Woodlands MRT Station on 14 April 2010

The same location where I saw the stingray in the sky…
Richard and I were walking home from Causeway Point. Upon crossing the Traffic Light, I was attracted by 4 flying cranes above me. They were swirling in the sky. After crossing the road, I quickly parked the pram and took out my camera to capture the beautiful moments. Richard was very impatient. I had to take quick snapshot of the pictures. Luckily I managed to capture the birds (which are very difficult to take since they are flying and I need to zoom in the camera).

This photograph shows me taking the photograph of the 4 cranes just before I cross the traffic light.

As can be seen from the photograph above, the birds cannot be seen clearly. I took this photo using my Sony Ericsson handphone. The slideshow above are photographs taken using my new Casio camera.

As I was walking further and further away from Woodlands MRT station, I could not help but keep turning back to look at where the birds had flew. Looking at the flying cranes, I saw the sky. It was so beautiful, the sun rays and the clouds… The cranes flew off further and further away. My attention was focus on the sky now.

WOW, it was the flying dove which the clouds had made (as shown below)! It is the same kind of dove that represented the Holy Spirit with ‘fire’ or ‘flame’ shaped with it. It was just so amazing. If the big dove is not clear, there is another small one behind it, which seems like another flying bird!

This photograph is a snapshot of the big flying dove with ‘emitting flame’ and another smaller dove flying behind. The sun shines on them, revealing the LIGHT.

I was so inspired. I was so full of aspirations. So many hymns keep repeating in my heart. This is the descent of the Holy Spirit…

[...] Walking along the pathways in my neighbourhood, I saw puddle of water which are all potential breeding grounds for mosquitoes. The drainage for the drains along this ‘non obvious’ places are often ignored, just like this carpark rooftop. This carpark rooftop is high up, and is ‘understandable’ if people have overlooked the need maintenance. But in the pavement, in the park and park connector, there should be someone doing it (to check the premises I mean — such as park ranger)… anyway we shall see. [...]
