Extraordinary Table

Leonardo da Vinci Writing

Leonardo da Vinci Writing

This is Leonardo da Vinci, writing on his famous notebook, using the feather…He is left-handed and he is a famous Renaissance painter who is famous for his painting on Mona Lisa and The Last Supper of Jesus Christ.

In the above painting, you can see Da Vinci writing on the table.  Back then, people use feather and ink to write on paper.  But now, people can use pen or pencils to write on paper.  Because of advancement in technology and human inventions, people can even ‘write’ on paper nowadays without having to use any pen or pencil — that is, the use of computer, to type what you want; and to print what you wanted.

Before the computer, people had used the typewriter to type as well. Once, I have disbelief with the Jehovah witness who told me that God makes Everything in this world.  How is it that God Makes Everything when what I saw was HUMAN BUILDING and HUMAN CONSTRUCTING the world?  Now I began to understand… it is God Working Through Us, the HUMAN BEING…. INSPIRATION…

Without Inspiration and ‘Vision’, it is impossible for anyone to do anything.  But every great works come from God.  Yesterday, I wrote about Lantern Festival at PeaceBella.com, having experience the ‘magical things’ that had happened in my life… have not finished writing yet, and another ‘extraordinary’ and unusual or ‘simply IMPOSSIBLE’ thing happened just at my dining table….

These are all unusual happenings that occurred at my dining table, simply because JESUS is LIVING with us… in this ENCHANTED SINGAPORE, Blessed Singapore…

Yesterday, Richard made two glasses of Oolong Tea, one for me and one for himself.  He put them on the dining table.  We drank our tea. Our dining table was messy yesterday, having Roti Prata (Halal, Muslim food) which we bought from Malay stall from 888 Plaza, as well as food which I had cooked for Isaac.  In the afternoon, I watched a Chinese show which showed Chinese Wedding.  They mentioned about “Conjugal Bliss”…  then my eyes looked across to the side of dining table while Isaac was with me.  Something IMPOSSIBLE I spotted on the floor, just beside the dining table, immediately below the dining table, on the SPOT where Richard had just left some moments ago…..

Did he left the paper there?  I reached for the paper.  It was something which I had NEVER SEEN before!!!  It is a piece of PRINTED PAPER titled “Peacefulness Through A Bowl of Tea”…

Richard wanted to buy glass top dining table for the house.  But until now, we had not bought anything, though we had seen several.  Our dining table is made of granite.  I love this dining table because it contains beautiful memories and I had paid $1500 for it.  I don’t know when it would ‘give way’ (there is a crack line at the centre of the dining table), but until now, I am happily using it.  I cannot imagine using a glass top dining table because I am not a ‘gentle’ person.  I would probably break the glass top if I have one.  If I do not break it, the children might! At Become.com, you can see many household items, including plug in chandelier and many other glass top dining table.  I just don’t feel ‘secure’ having a glass top dining table even though they really look nice.

Riverside Serena Round Coffee Table

Just two days ago, Richard’s father came and he had sat at the dining table.  In our house, we do not even have a proper living room — a sofa with a matching coffee table, to entertain our guest.  Isaac is growing, and how I wish I can buy him a good sofa for him to sit.  To buy a sofa and a matching round coffee table is my next goal.  Having children at home, it is good to have a round coffee table since children fall down easily.  Having rectangular or square coffee table contains risk like children falling down and knocking onto sharp edges of the table.

At Become.com, I had seen a beautiful round coffee table as shown in the picture.  It is called “Riverside Serena Round Coffee Table” and there is an offer price of $459.00 (36% Savings) now. Usual price is $719.00!  But this does not suit the “theme” of my home now…. too bad…. but it shall be a dream….
