Jesus told this parable: I tell you most solemnly, I am the gate of the sheepfold. All others who have come are thieves and brigands; but the sheep took no notice of them. I am the gate. Anyone who enters through me will be safe; he will go freely in and out and be sure of finding pasture. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I have come so that they may have life and have it to the full. I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd is one who lays down his life for his sheep. The hired man, since he is not the shepherd and the sheep did not belong to him, abandons the sheep and runs away as soon as he sees a wolf coming, and then the wolf attacks and scatters the sheep; this is because he is only a hired man and has no concern for the sheep.
I am the good shepherd; I know my own and my own know me, just as the Father knows me and I know the Father; and I lay down my life for my sheep. And there are other sheep I have that are not of this fold, and these I have to lead as well. They too will listen to my voice, and there will be only one flock, and one shepherd… John 10: 1-16
Never in my life have I dreamed or even thought that there is really such thing called ‘a change of fate’… Ever since Jesus came into my life, my life had greatly changed. I had witnessed the supernatural or the paranormal and the mysteries of the universe, especially to the Blessed Trinity.
My English is no good, my family is not rich, and I am surrounded by lowly educated people. I am being mocked and ridiculed for being the Lorry Driver’s daughter, and being despised for staying in a 3-room flat at the western part of Singapore, Boon Lay…
Even now at my home, I do not have a proper bar counter where people would gather round this place for their liquor and get hold of their favourite wine glasses. I used to have display cabinets with my liquors and wine glasses and several other collections of mine put in them. However, I had come to understand that all these are just vanities and that they are not everlasting…. afterall, they collect dust and they do not bring us happiness…
“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” ~ Matthew 6:33.
How Great is the Art of our Heavenly Father, our Almighty God in heaven. How great and miraculous is his power. He has shown me a new light. Now, my life is governed with mission and new direction.
Every dog has its day and every cloud has a silver lining. Nothing is permanent. I may not have a beautiful bar counter with hanging wine glass rack. I may not have a beautiful home now also. But Jesus had showered me with his LOVE, the REVELATION of the truth of Life, something which is PRICELESS!
So the quality of life is not measured in terms of one’s possession — wealth especially. Rather, it is what God has given us, the people around us… and the greatest person whom I have and owned so much is my mother and also my father… and slowly slowly, everyone ultimately….
Without my mother, I would not know anything about wine or liquor. Below, you can see a photograph of some of the wine which my mother had given me. The most unique one is the Merlion…. I am not very particular about my wine rack as long as all my things are kept neat and tidy.
My Wine Rack
If I had not been married, I would not know how much blessed I am — how blessed I am to have such a GOOD MOTHER, a loving mother, a HARD-WORKING mother, a ‘always-suffering‘ mother. My mother always GIVE and I feel so bad! What can I GIVE HER? She had given me wine glasses and in these photograph below, I had chosen 3 different types of wine glasses for ‘display’.

Having experienced so much in life, I can really ‘appreciate’ a good glass of hard liquor now. As you smell sip the liquor, you can reminisce all the memories in your head — sweet, sour, bitter, spicy… mixture… whichever kind of taste the liquor will ‘invoke’ on you.
I have never like bar counter in my life and that is why I do not have any in my home. But after looking at Glass Stemware Racks, and also as I grew to love wine, I had new ‘goal’! I just love those simple wine glass racks for sale at Glass Stemware Racks. The inspirational page which I fell in love with was the Wine Furniture of their website. They have so much wine furniture designs, and I really love the simple and small one — Stemware and Wine Wooden Cabinet ($250.58). Currently I do not have any special wine glass racks, and I am still doing fine with is very contented with what I have.
