Woodlands Evangelical Free Church (The Rock)
At ChristChurch, there were darkness as people lost their lives to the recent earthquakes on 22 February 2011, the day where I saw something ‘supernatural’ at my home also — reddish orange clay (soil) particles at my kitchen toilet. Over here in Singapore, the light of Christ had began to shine. The sighting of “Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon” in the sky and in the air (yesterday and today), is a mystery… the power of God.
The photograph above showed the church of Christ which had undergone reconstruction since last year (as early as April 2010). Now, it is on the road to completion (June 2o11). Today I had seen the cross (big silver cross) at the right hand side of the building now (Previously the cross was put on the left hand side of the building). At first, construction seemed slow, but time really flies when we are so busy. And now it is 28 February 2011 and guess what, I am making ‘progress’… I had visited Church of Christ The King the first time on Saturday, 26 February 2011…
Over at Church of Christ The King, the building was reconstructed as well. When I went there, the church was so nice, so beautiful. And who are the people who had contributed to the building of the Church of Christ?

One of the many Workers At The Church
This is the external view of the building, the facade that we see, and from which we would ‘judge’ the interior. When we stepped into the church premises, praying to God for everything that we need, care and protection (and more), did you ever thought of who are the ones who had built the church in the first place?

One of the many Workers At The Church
These are the blue collar workers and they had to take orders from superiors and carried out job orders. The engineers used their mouth and brains while these dark-skinned foreign workers had to all the hard (and risky) work. In addition they got low wages. The construction industry attracts most indians in Singapore. There are also more white collar Indians coming to Singapore to work. Just yesterday, while at the playground, we met an indian father who brought his son to the playground. He is a Permanent Resident of Singapore. Many of his relatives have come to Singapore for a living and all are residing in Woodlands!
People are always looking for better jobs. Why work? We work so that we can pay our bills, so that we have money for our meals, for leisure activities (pleasure) and for interactions (getting to know more people). Afterall, we are all social animals and nobody wants to be left alone in an island. At Jobvine, whether you are a jobseeker, recruiter or graduate, you can find the perfect job on South Africa’s most extensive job site.
During my younger days, I went internet to look for jobs also. As my study is in Science (Biology), I cannot work in engineering field. IT jobs or engineering jobs are not for me. I worked in tuition agency, hospital, real estate, insurance, and teaching. Each time I was pregnant, I had to stop work. Having 3 children now, I finally had found my vocation in life, the final job that I am being called… search for your dream job!
