Church of Our Lady of Lourdes
This is Church of Our Lady of Lourdes located at Ophir Road, somewhere opposite Rochor Centre. It is such a beautiful white church with magnificent architecture. Before you enter the side entrance of the church, you can see a blue sign as shown below here: You are entering the House of God. It informs you about the dress code of the church, just like what my parish at St Anthony does.

I had never attend any mass in this church before. That was the first time I came to this church. They have mission statement and vision clearly shown in the church. The mission statement as shown below in the photograph is: To experience the Kingdom of God where everyone is respected, accepted and loved as Children of God.

The Helix Bridge
At 40 years old, I think I was not being respected in the parish church that I attended. Lots of time I was being interrupted during mass time. Looking after children is not so easy. At my parish church, there is no special room for children. To look after children, I normally wear jeans/pants — easier to make bodily ‘action’ (不会走光)
Last Sunday, I was wearing this green pants which did not cover my whole legs. It was about 10cm above my ankle, making it the warden calling it three quarter pants. Wearing such a pant, I was not allowed to enter the church. Although we went church, we had to miss the mass on that day. What Clothes You Wear?

[...] Suitable Clothes Walking on Bukit Timah Railroad What sort of clothes must you wear when you enter the church? Now it seemed such a serious matter, so much so that the wardens are stopping people from entering the church (for Holy Mass)! [...]
